In my experience, laboratories often have developed 'tweaks' to standardized protocols that improve the yield or quality of product. I will be updating this page with protocols that I have developed while conducting my research, including any changes (major or minor) to standard protocols associated with a commercial product. Although there is undoubtedly still room for improvement in any of these protocols, I have generally had good success using these protocols and would be happy to share the modifications I have made that have improved experimental outcomes.
